Bio

Dr. Ginsberg is a native Southern Californian who earned his Bachelor's degree at the University of California at Berkeley. He subsequently returned to Los Angeles where he completed medical school, residency and fellowship. In addition to his faculty appointment at USC, Dr. Ginsberg is Chief of Urology at Rancho Los Amigo National Rehabilitation Center. Dr. Ginsberg's clinical practice is focused on female pelvic medicine, which includes urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse, neurogenic bladder and male voiding dysfunction. Dr. Ginsberg's research interests focus on lower urinary tract reconstruction in spinal cord injury patients, urologic applications of botulinum toxin and long-term follow-up issues for patients with neurogenic bladder. Dr. Ginsberg is the author or co-author of more than 70 peer-reviewed articles, numerous book chapters and is a regular reviewer for journals such as Journal of Urology, Urology, Neurourology & Urodynamics and Neurosurgery as well as an associate editor for Neurourology & Urodynamics He has held several visiting professorships and has been invited to lecture on multiple occasions throughout the United States and the world. He is on the urological editorial board for Medscape and is a Senior Consultant on the American Urological Association/American Board of Urology Exam Committee. Dr. Ginsberg is Chair of the American Urological Association Neurogenic Lower Urinary Dysfunction Guidelines Panel  and also served as a member of the Stress Incontinence Guidelines Panel.
